  1. Any thoughts of adding text guides too? I know of a really good Vega one, since there's a shortage of videos right now~

    ReplyDelete
  2. Well there are alot of text guides on eventhubs, but if you wish for me to include text guides, I think its feasible.

    ReplyDelete
  3. It's not a huge deal, it was just a suggestion. I think text guides are just as good as vid guides, because you can go back and see specific parts of it easily. Maybe you can make a separate one for them?
    Also, the first Rose vid goes to an Oni vid. I'll let you know if I see any more mistakes =)

  24. I've been watching this since it went "live", and it's amazing. Keep it up.

    My one suggestions would be to have a "general" area. An area designated for general SF4 tutorials, not necessarily directed towards a single character but about the game itself.

    For example: http://sonichurricane.com/?page_id=1702

    Doesn't belong to any one character, but it's very, very, helpful to everyone, regardless of character.

    Cheers.

      You are right. If I had invested time providing an explanation within the video itself, perhaps it would add value to your page. Thank you for helping me share what I did end up creating with the community. Have a great day and good luck with your new pages.

    4. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      It appears that what I've found will end up on this page in the future in tutorial format. Air-Ryu said that he is going to add the Super Trap to his up-and-coming DVD. If I had good recording equipment, I would have made a full blown tutorial. It is cool that I could help contribute to this site by through Air's DVD. I'll be here again later to watch more tutorials Ugonna Leonard.

  65. Hello there everyone, there seems to be a problem with the Oni tutorial. For the "Oni Wake up Setups" link, the video depicts Gouki waking up set ups and not Oni. Also, the last video seems to be taken down and no longer exists. KaizenMaster told me to post here about it so whenever you get a chance, it would be great if those videos can be replaced. Thank you.

  66. Updated, sorry I haven't been around for a while, I am making job transitions so its not really easy for me to keep this in check. Do you guys think I should make something like this for SFxTK?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

    I think that making one of these for SFxTK would prove to be a much greater resource than this has been for the community because you'd make it at the start of that game's popularity instead of at the end. The awareness of that blog would revitalize interest in this one as well. I think that this resource would help the skill level of SFxTK players improve much faster than they would if they didn't have a blog like this one.

    P.S. Good luck with everything and take your time updating your blogs.

    1. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      I'll check out the link that you've provided above to see if I've been there before. I main Ryu so most resources with his name I end up finding.

      P.S. Thank you for actually talking to those who frequent your page.

    2. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      I have seen that web page before. I bookmarked it during the Fall of 2011. I recommended it to those who asked me about Fei Long.

      I've sent more people here and didn't go there as much since I only used that page to help me learn the Fei Vs. Ryu matchup better. I take nothing away from that page. I think that it is very detailed and it provided me with great hitbox images as well.

    And to show my appreciation I am asking you to choose what the name of the SFxTK tutorials page is going to be.

    1. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      Wow! Thank you very much. Just knowing that I can help the community expand its knowledge of SSF4 through your page until I get my own video capture equiptment has been more than enough.

      I invest countless hours teaching the first day person to A+ Ranked players about the finer aspects of SSF4. Now I can help many more people instead of just helping one at a time by sending them here. I wish that this existed when I started playing.

      P.S. Once again, I'm honored that you'd allow me to be apart of your journey to provide quality material for the Fighting Game Community. I'll have a name or URL for you soon.

    3. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      I've looked up most of the ideas listed below on Google to make sure that the word combinations can help your blog become the number one ranked search result. I don't know if you wanted an original name or one that refers to SFxT, tutorials, and teaching.

      * Fighter Cross Academy
      * Victor's Volt
      * SFxT Tyro Tutor/Tutorials
      * Fighters Guide Compendium
      * Fightek Selects
      * Beatdown Breakdowns
      * SFxT Trainer
      * SFxT 101

      I wanted to use words from the SFxT character move set like Cross Counter did to expand my range of ideas and originality. I'll look into doing that after seeing what you think about these word choices first.

      P.S. I'm going to be watching your newest video featuring Viper tonight!

    4. Wow, nice names, I leave the choice to you, what ever is ok with you is fine with me.

  70. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

    I prefer "Fighters Guide Compendium" but that name doesn't seem to serve you as well as "SFxT 101" because of the word "Compendium." I'm sure that many people won't remember that word or know how to spell it correctly. Also the acronym "FGC" is a common one making it more difficult for your blog to reach the top search rankings on Google when compared to searching for "SFxT 101". For these reasons, I think "SFxT 101" will work best for you. I suggest that you register the name as soon as you can before someone takes it since the game has inspired many new content providers to begin compiling SFxT information.

    1. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      I don't know what type of URLs blogSpot allows you to create. I was excited to know that I helped to create a name brand that would be responsible for helping many people. I just don't know what happened to my second choice or any other names that I was assigned to choose as replacements for SFxT 101 if that wasn't allowed by BlogSpot.

    2. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      When I bookmarked the new blog, I noticed that my browser named the page SFxT Fighters Guide Compendium. So some of my confusion was cleared up. I guess I thought that the name would appear on the blog and in the URL. That is why I invested time searching Google for search results so that the names in the list wouldn't give you a lot of viewer competition.

    1. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

      I'm happy that I could support you and your work. Helping others is what I love to do. What makes that even more fulfilling is when I end up finding out that my assistance has inspired the aid of others.

      I went to the website. I think that the page looks sleek. I like the black background which blends from the banner down. I'll get started collecting tutorials for the community that plays SFxT.

  74. Hi Ugonna Leonard,

    Since I don't know what features that BlogSpot provides for making this page look better, I'd have to say keep the page as it looks now. Others may think differently so I hope that they add their feedback below. I like this page anyway.
